Thanks for the song "I was there". As soon as I can find an accompaniment CD I want to sing it in my church.

I saw you guys at my wifes' grandmas' church about a year or so ago. Midway methodist in Columbia,s.c. You sort of moved me with your music that touches a spot in my heart. I am the father of four girls, ages 14, 3, and twin girls 16 months. your songs helped me understand that i have so much to thank god for. "the hour i first believed" especially moves me with such happiness in my soul. it's funny, i've always loved to sing, but i've never took that step and went up front. maybe someday. no doubt my voice is certainally country, or so i've been told. maybe i might could sing one with you guys someday. oh well....your music takes me back to when i was a child growing up and going to a little small church in the country with my grandma and granpa in kershaw co. south carolina..the've gone to be with the lord now, but the've left me with a lifetime of memories until i see them again someday. thanks for reminding me of those memories with my "Mammy and Pa" with your heartfelt songs. love ya both, take care, and God bless your family. I heard you for the first time yesterday at Mule Day in Ider, Ala., and I have been enjoying the lingering blessing all day today. WOW! I am a Gospel Music fan, born-again Christian, a regular church-goer, choir member and a frequent soloist, but I don't believe I have ever been more touched by voices, lyrics, and the presentation of Christ. I sat on the front row, and although I never raised my hand, I continually wiped the tears from my eyes, which is MY way of worshipping. Thank you for your sweet spirit of humility and praise and love for the Lord. I know you will rise to great heights in the music industry, but I hope you will always stay "back home" in your hearts. Our daughter was killed instantly in an automobile crash at the age of 16. It has been 23 years, but I seemed to feel all of your pain with you, and at the same time, felt again the peace that God has provided through His comfort to us, and to you. I try to take advantage of every opportunity to sing songs which relay the message of peace, comfort and hope in the midst of heartache and trials, believing that God is pleased and others can be blessed. Perhaps that is why I was so drawn into your ministry. God has a place for me in a small church who lovingly accepts my imperfections; but I am so thankful for folks like you who can reach large crowds with the same message presented so beautifully. Thank you for giving to the Lord. I plan to give your contact information to our pastor with a recommendation that you be invited to share with our congregation as soon as possible. Thanks for the great singing last night folks. It was good to meet you all in person.
